Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

Q: How much beef will I get?

A: A half cow will yield about 200 pounds and a full cow will yield about 400 pounds. We cannot give you an exact weight because every cow has a different weight.

Q: What is the process?

A: Once you pay for the beef and select your cuts, we will deliver the cow to be slaughtered and butchered. Once that is complete, you will pick up the frozen beef directly from the USDA certified butcher.

Q: How many steaks do I get?

A: Approximately 2/3 of your beef will be ground beef. The remainder will be the steaks, roasts, briskets and other choice cuts.

The beef from Cherokee County is the best I've ever tasted. Highly recommend!

Three raw, bone-in ribeye steaks arranged on a round wooden cutting board, placed on a light wood table. The meat has a rich marbling and is partially in shadow, suggesting natural lighting.
